A comedy skit of an actor dressed as a British police officer questioning a driver sitting outside a train station in a stationary car has been reshared online as if an authentic interaction.
“This British cop would’ve failed out of the academy if they had any standards left.
Before Long British Citizens will be fined for Just Breathing,” reads a Nov. 2 Facebook post (archived) that shared the clip out of context.
Incredulous, the unidentified driver tells the officer that he is waiting for a friend.
Teji added that, based on the uniform worn by River in the clip, it did not show an officer with Bedfordshire Police.
